• NYSP: Trenton woman arrested in Holland Patent man's death (cnyhomepage.com) — A Holland Patent man was fatally shot in a Trenton home, and State Police have charged a 38-year-old Trenton woman with second-degree manslaughter in his death. Investigators say she was handling a loaded double-barreled shotgun when it discharged, killing 31-year-old Michael Prokopienko. She is being held in Oneida County Jail on substantial bail while the case proceeds.
