• Minor Injuries After Pickup Truck Snaps Two Power Poles in Homer (wxhc.com) — A pickup truck crash Sunday afternoon in the Village of Homer snapped two power poles, briefly knocking out electricity and closing Route 281 between Clinton and James Streets. First responders found the truck on its side; the 17-year-old driver was taken by TLC Ambulance with minor injuries as National Grid worked to restore power and reopen the road.
