The agency will rely on monitored natural attenuation, backed by regular groundwater testing and existing local ordinances on well use, to ensure drinking water standards are met and vapor risks in homes remain controlled.
   

• Knights of Columbus Raising Funds to Help Cuban Nuns Bake Communion Hosts (thetablet.org) — Local Catholics who want to support Cuban nuns baking Communion hosts can mail donations through the New York State Knights of Columbus at a P.O. Box in Hopewell Junction. The funds will help install solar panels at a Havana monastery, giving the sisters reliable power to continue supplying hosts for churches across Cuba despite the country’s failing electrical grid.
