• Ranger helps two dehydrated hikers off Mink Hollow Trail (fingerlakes1.com) — A pair of Pennsylvania hikers who became dehydrated on the Mink Hollow Trail in Hunter’s Indian Head Wilderness were safely guided out by a forest ranger after a late-night call on October 13. The ranger reached them around 11:30 p.m., provided food, water, and warming, and had them out of the woods by 1:30 a.m.
