• Man found unconscious in Avalon Huntington Station pool in serious condition (newsday.com) — A 69-year-old Huntington Station resident is in serious condition after being pulled unconscious from the Avalon Huntington Station apartment complex pool on East 5th Street Friday afternoon. Nearby bystanders performed CPR before he was taken to Huntington Hospital, and police say no criminality is suspected but are asking anyone with information to contact Suffolk County Police. 
• Kendron Rivers hurt in motorcycle crash on Long Island Avenue (newsline.com) — A 30-year-old Huntington Station motorcyclist, Kendron Rivers, suffered serious injuries when his Yamaha collided with a turning Honda Accord on Long Island Avenue in Wyandanch on June 13. Suffolk County Police impounded both vehicles, and detectives are continuing to investigate while urging anyone with information to contact the First Squad.
