7 Businesses Opening In Walt Whitman Shops Of South Huntington

Lululemon and Showcase already opened, while five others are on the way. Offerings include trends, clothing, and a plant-forward eatery.

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, NY — Five new businesses are coming to Walt Whitman Shops in South Huntington, with an additional two having already opened, a spokesperson announced.

The businesses cover clothing, trendy retail items, nails, home goods, and plant-based food.

  • sweetgreen: The health and plant-forward eatery is part of Walt Whitman’s redevelopment of the center’s southwest corner, which will include an outdoor dining area. The chain specializes in salads. It is scheduled to open later in 2023.
  • lululemon: The fitness and lifestyle brand moved into its new, 6,000-square-foot space in November, having opened Nov. 16. The expansion will increase product offerings and the launch of lululemon athletic footwear.
  • Showcase: Known for its “retail-tainment,” the home to the hottest trends offering fun, interactive and "unique" products opened on Jan. 12. Check out the Showcase CEO's interview with Patch.
  • Levi’s: The American denim brand is set to come to Walt Whitman Shops in February.
  • Brooks Brothers: The store carries iconic dress shirts, navy blazers, suits and ties. Brooks Brothers is relocating to the former Microsoft Space and is set to open in February.
  • QQ Nails and Spa: Committed to creating an inviting and comfortable spa experience that nurtures the body, mind and spirit, QQ Nails and Spa will soon offer Walt Whitman shoppers an hour’s retreat from stress. The opening is slated for March.
  • Arhaus: Rounding out the home category retailers at Walt Whitman Shops, Arhaus will join the ranks of Anthropologie, West Elm, Pottery Barn, PB Kids & Teen, and more later this year.
