9 Harborfields HS Students Place In PTA Reflections Contest

GREENLAWN, NY — Nine students from Harborfields High School placed during the local PTA Reflections contest, the school district announced. Four earned Awards of Excellence.

Seniors Sarah Ahlsen and Stephan Euvrard finished first and second, respectively, in the visual arts category, earning Awards of Excellence. Senior Camille Lach placed third in that category; freshman Celia Ancona placed fourth; senior Dillon Al-Sullami placed fifth; freshman Madison Appold placed sixth; and senior Nora Sweeney-Gladen placed seventh. They all earned Awards of Merit.

In the photography category, junior Clarissa Bues finished first, earning an Award of Excellence.

In the literature category, junior Megan Happel finished first for her piece “The Voices in Me,” earning an Award of Excellence.

The four Harborfields Award of Excellence-winning entries were submitted to the Suffolk County PTA for Suffolk-wide judging.
