AC/DC Frontman in Town, Carnival

1. YMCA Memorial Week Carnival opens today at the , 60 Main St . The event runs through May 30. Starts at 6 p.m. today and ends at 10:30 p.m. Features, rides, live entertainment, food and midway.

2. Youth financial workshop at , 100 Main St., Huntington.  Runs from  7 p.m. to 9 p.m. features a two-hour seminar for high school students preparing for college better handle their financial responsibilities. Parents are welcomed to attend.

3. AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson at the Book Review to sign his new memoir, "Rockers & Rollers," at 7 p.m. Johnson, an automotive enthusiast shares his thoughts on cars, racing experiences, and celebrities. In 2003, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, along with the other members of the band.

4. Babe's last homer: On this day in 1935, Yankees baseball legend Babe Ruth hit his 714th and final home run against the Pittsburgh Pirates. His record was broken by Atlanta Braves outfielder Hank Aaron in 1974.

5. National Tap Dance Day:  Signed into U.S. law by President George H.W. Bush in 1989,  the May 25 celebration of the American art form falls on the birthday of Bill "Bojangles" Robinson.
