HUNTINGTON, NY — Actor Justin Long, known for roles in films such as "DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story" "Accepted" and "He's Just Not That Into You," was the master of ceremonies for a Northport golf tournament that raised about $140,000 for a Huntington hospital.
The inaugural Phillip Messina Memorial Golf tournament took place July 8 at the Indian Hills Country Club to celebrate the life of the late Phillip Messina of Northport. Messina died in February 2018 following a battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer known as glioblastoma multiforme, according Northwell Health.
