Parents in Huntington, South Huntington, Harborfields and Cold Spring Harbor can mark the first day of school coming later this summer.
TOWN OF HUNTINGTON, NY — Back-to-school planning has already begun in the Huntington area, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Huntington, South Huntington, Harborfields and Cold Spring Harbor.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:
Huntington School District
- First Day: Sept. 6, 2023
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22 through 24, 2023
- Winter Break: Dec. 25, 2023 through Jan. 1, 2024
- Spring Break: March 28 through April 1, 2024; April 22 through 26, 2023
- Last Day: June 26, 2024
South Huntington School District
- First Day: Sept. 5, 2023
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22 through 24, 2023
- Winter Break: Dec. 25, 2023 through Jan. 1, 2024
- Spring Break: March 28 through April 1, 2024; April 22 through 26, 2024
- Last Day: June 26, 2024
Harborfields School District
- First Day: Sept. 5, 2023
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22 through 24, 2023
- Winter Break: Dec. 25, 2023 through Jan. 1, 2024
- Spring Break: March 28 through April 1, 2024; April 22 through 26, 2024
- Last Day: June 26, 2024
Cold Spring Harbor School District
- First Day: Sept. 5, 2023
