BREAKING: LUPINACCI FORMS CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE: LUPINACCI FOR CONGRESS
Press Release from Chad A. Lupinacci

In another step to explore a congressional run, Chad A. Lupinacci completed the necessary filing to create a Congressional Campaign Committee for New York’s Third Congressional District. One day after announcing his “strong consideration” to run for the Republican nomination, Lupinacci’s actions on Friday, January 8th, reaffirm his possible intent to seek a House seat.
“Yesterday, after consulting community members, my campaign team and a few trusted advisors, I determined it was time to take a deeper look at the 2016 race for NY-03,” Lupinacci said. “There are serious issues facing our country and I think that my elected experience at the State and local level will prove invaluable in helping to get the country headed in the right direction,” Lupinacci said.
Lupinacci currently represents the Tenth Assembly District in the New York State Assembly. He was elected to the Assembly in 2012 and re-elected in 2014 by wide margins. The Tenth Assembly District covers parts of the Town of Huntington and Town of Babylon. Lupinacci believes that his electoral success in a district that has more registered Democrats than Republicans may prove useful in a congressional race.

“During my time in the Assembly, I have produced results for Long Island by working with my colleagues in both parties. It is clear that people are tired of the disfunction in Washington. We need proven leadership to provide real solutions to the many serious problems facing our nation.”
