Temple Beth El is proud to present the internationally acclaimed all-women klezmer ensemble Isle of Klezbos for a one-night-only concert on Saturday, May 16 at 7:30 PM.
Known for their vibrant and genre-defying sound, Isle of Klezbos blends traditional Yiddish music with influences from jazz, swing, tango, reggae, and more. The result is a bold, joyful, and deeply expressive style that honors klezmer tradition while reimagining it for contemporary audiences. Their performances have been praised by The New York Times as “intoxicating,” reflecting both technical mastery and infectious energy.
“This concert is a celebration of culture, creativity, and community,” said Lisa Tricomi of Temple Beth El of Huntington. “We are thrilled to welcome Isle of Klezbos to Huntington. Their music is not only world-class, but also joyful, accessible, and deeply engaging for audiences of all backgrounds.”
The event reflects Temple Beth El of Huntington’s ongoing commitment to offering meaningful cultural programming to the broader Long Island community, bringing people together through shared artistic experiences.
Guests are invited to arrive early for drinks and light refreshments before the performance, with dessert following the concert to extend the evening of connection and celebration.
