A Cento poem is a poem made up entirely of lines taken from other poems. A Smash Words Cento “smashes” things up by taking these lines and rearranging, juxtaposing, and re-contextualising them. The goal is to take ideas from different sources to produce something unexpected, fresh and new.

There are no movies like “Galaxy Goodfellas” or “Godfather of Mars.” &nbsp;However, there is a fun sub-genre of science fiction films depicting crimes committed in outer space. Long Island based film historian Glenn Andreiev presents a talk on felonies beyond the stars with such films and shows such as Outland, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Trek and more, including rarely seen 1950's films such as Spaceways. Registration is required. Open to all.
