Centerport Fire Department Elects New Fire Chiefs

The Centerport Fire Department recently elected new Chief officers for the upcoming year.

New to the Chief's office is Ex-Captain Andrew Heglund who was elected to the position of Second Assistant Chief.

Richard Miltner moved up to First Assistant Chief and Thomas Boyd was named the new Chief of the Department.

Andrew Heglund was congratulated by his father Paul Heglund, an ex-chief and department chaplain.

Heglund was presented his new Chief's helmet and the department wished him well in his new position.
