Central Business Systems is led by co-owners Mike Chambers and Sean Infante — the president and vice president, respectively.

Chambers has more than 35 years of experience in the industry and took the helm of Central Business Systems in 2001. The company employs more than 50 people. Infante began his career at the business in 1986, learning the industry from the bottom up. He has a reputation for building relationships with customers through personalized customer service, according to the company.

"In our 75th year, we continue to evolve to provide customized solutions to meet the changing needs of our clients," Chambers said via news release. "We are proud and feel blessed to have stood the test of time to reach this milestone, and we are grateful to our dedicated staff, valued customers and the community for their trust, support and continued commitment to us."

Chambers and Infante donate to many local charities on Long Island, according to Central Business Systems. The two were honored with the Shepard’s Award from SCO Family of Services for their philanthropic work, while Family Service League presented them with the Corporate Leadership Award.

Central Business Systems was challenged by the coronavirus pandemic when many Long Island businesses and organizations transitioned from in-office to remote operations "virtually overnight," the business said. The company provided remote workplace devices, video conferencing solutions, managed IT and cybersecurity to make sure clients could continue to work in the evolving landscape.

"At Central Business Systems, we pride ourselves on our values of service and integrity, which have been integral to our company throughout our history," Infante said. "Our 75th anniversary is a celebration of our company’s legacy, of who we are today and of the exciting future that lies ahead."

Central Business Systems is at 1219 Walt Whitman Road, Melville. It can be reached at 1-800-896-4249.
