John's Crazy Socks Launches Back-to-School Gift Bags for Students and Teachers

The Huntington-based, mission-driven sock company is helping families send a little happiness back to school this fall.
HUNTINGTON, N.Y. — John's Crazy Socks, the Huntington Village-based business co-founded by John Cronin and his father, Mark Cronin, has released two back-to-school gift bags designed to bring a smile to students and teachers as the new school year begins.
For Cronin, who serves as the company's CEO and Chief Happiness Officer, the collection is personal. Every year growing up, he marked the start of school with a fresh pair of socks — and then wore shorts so he could show them off. "Socks let me be me," he often says, choosing pairs that reflected his personality or simply made people laugh.
Both gift bags arrive pre-wrapped in a cherry red mesh bag, complete with a candy treat, a personal note from John, and a discount toward a future purchase. Customers can have either bag shipped directly to themselves or straight to the recipient. As the company puts it, "You're the hero, and we do the work." Each bag is priced at $29.99.
For Teachers
The Back to School Gift Bag for Teacher features a two-pack of fun socks: Bookshelf socks for the classroom and Red Wine socks for after the final bell rings. It makes a thoughtful gift for a spouse, friend, or family member heading back to the classroom.
For Students
The Back to School Gift Bag for Student pairs Rubber Duckies and Tacos socks, a fun way to send off a child, grandchild, niece, or nephew, and a perfect care package for a student who has just left for college.
Both gift bags are available now at johnscrazysocks.com.
