The Clubhouse Reopens In Huntington
The steakhouse had been closed since September after it was seized by NYS for unpaid taxes. But now it's back with a grand re-opening deal.

HUNTINGTON, NY — The Clubhouse, a Huntington staple for decades, is back. The steakhouse announced its grand re-opening late Tuesday morning.
From Tuesday through Friday, diners can enjoy 20 percent off their entire checks as part of the restaurant's celebration. The Clubhouse has been a part of the community since 1962.
"WE'RE OPEN!!" the restaurant posted on Facebook, adding that it's "feeling grateful."

The Clubhouse was seized by New York State for unpaid taxes back in September.
The business had owed the state $168,481.02, James Gazzale, a spokesman for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, told Newsday in September.

The award-winning restaurant's future was up in the air just a couple of months ago, but customers seem thrilled that it's back, based on their responses to the Facebook post.
The business' entrees include porterhouse or Chateaubriand for two or three, T-Bone, New York strip, bone-in rib eye, filet mignon, as well as some non-steak options such as Scottish salmon, lobster tails, baby back ribs and more.
Diners could also order appetizers such as chicken wings, escargot, crab cake, shrimp cocktail, crispy fried calamari, soups and salads. There were a handful of sandwiches as well, like Angus rib eye French dip, filet mignon, a Waygu beef hot dog, as well as a sirloin and filet mignon burger sandwich.
The Clubhouse is located at 320 W. Jericho Turnpike, Huntington.
