Voters Approve Cold Spring Harbor School Budget, Board Members Elected

Cold Spring Harbor residents approved a 2016-17 school budget on Tuesday.

The $64,985,279 budget was approved by a margin of 527-132. The budget is a 1.55 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 0.85 percent tax levy increase.

Voters also elected the following two candidates to the Cold Spring Harbor Board of Education:

• Amelia Walsh Brogan
• Lizabeth S. Squicciarini
