College Fairs Hosted At Harborfields High School

A fair and mini-fair were held, featuring dozens of colleges.

GREENLAWN, NY — Two college fairs — one of them miniature — were recently held at Harborfields High School, as students got to meet with prospective colleges and universities, the school district announced.

The mini fair, held on March 14, featured 52 colleges and universities. The students were given an opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with college representatives to learn about each school. Additionally, the school’s career transition classes participated as part of their hospitality unit. The CTC students helped welcome the college representatives, baked fresh cookies, made delicious fruit salad and helped serve the representatives.

The school held its seventh annual college fair on March 20, coordinated by school counselor Jackie Best. The fair boasted more than 90 colleges and universities.
