Cops: Man Stole from Huntington Mosque Donation Box
Police are offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.

A man damaged and stole from a donation box at a Huntington Mosque in August, and police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and finding him, authorities said Monday.
Suffolk County Police say a man entered Masjid Noor, located at 1032 Park Ave., pried open a donation box with a hammer and stole money from the box on Aug. 27 at about 11 a.m. The man then fled on foot.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
