Disabled Vehicle Cleared From Long Island Expressway

The shoulder became blocked right around rush hour. The vehicle has since been cleared.

TOWN OF HUNTINGTON, NY — A disabled vehicle blocked the left shoulder on the eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway in the Town of Huntington during rush hour on Thursday afternoon.

The vehicle got stuck between Exit 51 - Deer Park Avenue and Exit 52 - Commack Road near Huntington at 4:52 p.m., according to 511 NY.

The vehicle has since been cleared.
