New this year is a bus to take volunteers to several smaller beaches. The "Clean Beaches Bus Tour" will leave from the municipal parking lot in Northport across the street from the Engeman Theater on Main Street in Northport and will deliver volunteers to Hobart Beach, Asharoken Beach and Scudder Beach.
Register for the bus with Megan Lavery at Town Hall.

After the cleanup, the bus will bring volunteers back to the municipal lot in Northport, where they can drive to the luncheon at Centerport Beach.
All of the clean-up supplies will be waiting for volunteers at each beach, and the town will dispose of debris. The town will provide water for all volunteers at the beaches and on the bus.
Bring gloves, a hat and sunscreen. All cleanups will begin simultaneously at 9 a.m. and will go until noon, at which time the town asks volunteers to meet at the Centerport Beach's senior citizen beach house for the luncheon.
