
Award-winning singer Susan Winter and an afternoon of wonderful music from the song catalogues of Johnny Mercer, Kander and Ebb, Irving Berlin, and Jerome Kern!
Susan Winter won the Backstage Bistro Award as Outstanding Vocalist in 2009 and the Nancy LaMott Recording of the Year in 2010 for her debut CD, “Love Rolls On…LIVE!” Winter has performed in intimate jazz spaces, and with big bands, following the famous 30s and 40s charts. She regularly appears at the Metropolitan Room in Manhattan and, most recently, performed at Queens College in “Rise Up Singing,” a one-woman concert.
Joining Susan is accomplished jazz pianist and musical director/arranger Tedd Firth. He has worked as an accompanist with Tom Wopat, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Maureen McGovern, Marilyn Maye, Mary Cleere Haran, Margaret Whiting, Marlene VerPlanck and many others.
