The LWV of Huntington is holding a Meet the Canidates Night at the Harborfileds Public Library from 7 to 9. The candidates on the Nov. 8 ballot for Huntington town council, Receiver of Taxes and the 16th, 17th, and 18th Legislative Districts will be there. The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Huntington are cosponsors. There will be an opportunity for those who attend to submit their questions on index cards to be asked by the moderator. Questions must addressed to all candidates running for that office and no personal attacks will be allowed. We hope to cover as many areas as possible in the time frame and sometimes questions from different people will be combined. Hear fro the canidates themselves. Become an educated voter and then remember to vote on Nov. 8.
