Memorial Day Parades Around Town

Several Memorial Day parades are scheduled throughout Huntington for Monday.

Huntington Village, 11:30 a.m.

Hosted by The Nathan Hale VFW #1469. The parade heads north on New York Avenue from the Big H shopping center to West Carver Street, then west on West Carver to Green Street, north on Green Street to Main Street, then east on Main Street through the village, past the reviewing stand on Main Street, to end at Stewart Avenue near the Soliders and Sailors Memorial Building.

Centerport Fire Dept., 10:30 a.m.
Harrison Drive to Park Circle

Elwood-Commack, 10 a.m.
Hosted by VFW # 9263, parade marchers head east on Jericho Turnpike from the Home Depot to the junction at Veterans Highway

Greenlawn Fire Department, 9 a.m.
Parade marchers start at East Maple Road then head south on Broadway to Memorial Park (Pulaski & Broadway)
 

Northport Village, 9:30 a.m.
Hosted by Northport American Legion # 694, parade route starts on Laurel Avenue at the William Brosnan School and goes along Main Street to the harbor, ending in the park near the gazebo

Knights of Columbus, East Northport Parade, 12:15 p.m.

Clay Pitts & Larkfield Roads, north to Pulaski Road to John Walsh Memorial Park adjacent to East Northport Library

Melville: There is no Melville parade scheduled this year.
