Beth Weiner Lipson has been a professional artist for over thirty years, specializing in highly detailed animal portraits that truly capture the pet’s unique personality. She offers both pencil and watercolor portraits which can be seen on her website and her Pet Memorial Artwork collages.
Ms. Lipson graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in illustration, and shortly after started her career as a children’s book author and illustrator. She has published over twenty books with various publishers including Harper & Row, Macmillan, and Grosset & Dunlap. Her illustrations have also appeared in the House Beautiful Magazine and Highlights for Children.
Ms. Lipson donates her services to paint pet portraits as raffle prizes for several local pet shelters and rescue groups including Forgotten Friends of L.I. and Little Shelter.

Beth Weiner Lipson is a member of the Huntington Art Council, the Long Island Pet Professionals, the Suburban Art League, the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, and the Art League of Long Island.
