Updated: Missing Mom Found

Mary Beth Steenson Kraese was missing since 4:30 p.m. Monday until Tuesday afternoon.

Update: Huntington Patch does not yet have details but Mary Beth Steanson Kraese, a well-known volunteer firefighter with the Huntington Manor Fire Department and a South Huntington School District mother of three, who went missing yesterday after facing some emotional distress has been found, according to a post on her husband Phil's Facebook page.

He said only that she has been found and was taken to Stony Brook Hospital.

Here is the original information:  Her husband, Phil, posted this on her Facebook page just before 9 a.m. today: This is Mary Beth's husband Phil, if you have seen or spoken to her since 4:30pm yesterday please contact me or leave a message for her. She is missing and I have filed a missing person report with the police.

On his own page, he posted this as his status at 6:45 a.m. today: Something is really wrong and I am scared. I filed a missing persons report last night.

An active Facebook user, Mary Beth's last post on her own page was Monday at 9:05 a.m. A friend, however, said that Krease commented on one of her photos at 7:40 p.m. Monday.

According to a source, volunteer firefighters including her husband were out looking for her throughout the night. "Apparently she got some kind of a disturbing phone call just before she left and then took off out of the house, left and never came back," the source said.

Cell phone records show her phone was last used yesterday in Riverhead.

She drives a black PT Cruiser with the license plate, PTKRUZIN.
