  1. Huntington Station man who tried to kidnap girlfriend sentenced. Kenyonne Fleurinay, 23, of Huntington Station, pleaded guilty in September to second-degree attempted kidnapping (a class C violent felony) and then not returning to court for his sentence. He faces 13 years in prison, and you can read the details of the crime in the link. (Huntington Patch)

  3. Fire destroys the Shower Door store on East Jericho Turnpike. The fire broke out early Friday morning and multiple departments responded. Jericho Turnpike was closed in both directions during the early morning commute and no injuries were reported. The building was completely destroyed in the fire. (Huntington Now)
  4. Missing Huntington Station woman found safe, unharmed. The 77-year-old woman has dementia and was reported missing on Thursday. (Huntington Now)
