Celebrate First Friday at The Heckscher Museum of Art. Explore the Museum’s exhibitions during extended viewing hours and enjoy unique musical performances inspired by artwork on view.

Four talented female flutists of the Flutissimo Flute Quartet will perform a scintillating tribute to women with selections that honor women, including several written by female composers. Then, experience the connections between visual art and dance as the Walt Whitman High School modern dance troupe performs an original dance inspired by the Museum’s “You Go Girl!”exhibition and choreographed by dance teacher Susan Turner.
