Greenlawn FD's Fireman's Fair Coming To Town: Info
The four-day fair will feature a parade, food, games of chance, rides for the kids and all-around family fun.
GREENLAWN, NY — The Greenlawn Fire Department's annual Fireman's Fair is slated for Labor Day Weekend.
The fair will run Thursday, Aug. 31, through Sunday, Sept. 3, this year, with Labor Day being used as a rain date if one of the four previous days is rained out, the fire department told Patch.
The parade is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday. Members from the many surrounding fire departments will be participating in the parade, showing their support in New York state’s longest-running Fireman’s Fair.

"Greenlawn’s fair’s reputation is upheld year after year by the superior selection of goods and prizes to be won in a multitude of games of chance as well as its hometown family atmosphere," the Greenlawn Fire Department wrote. "You certainly do not want to miss this end-of-summer tradition as there is always plenty of food, games of chance, rides for the kids and all-around family fun every year at our fair."
