Harborfields Observes 9/11 With 'Field Of Honor'
Harborfields High School's student government formed a display to honor the nation and observe the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

GREENLAWN, NY — A "field of honor" display was created at Harborfields High School to honor the nation and observe the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, according to the school district.
The school's student government, under the leadership of Barbara McCullagh and Kerri McGinty, came up with the idea.
They worked with Councilman Mark Cuthbertson’s office and Dr. Daniel Picard to secure flags for a Field of Honor on the school’s front lawn. When the flags were delivered on Thursday, six members of Harborfields’ junior varsity boys soccer team — Jack Bunt, Ali Reza Chaviwalla, Sean Duff, Owen Lakshimi, Vance Sherman and Viraj Vaish — volunteered to help set them up. The school also set up flags and several 9/11 banners throughout the property and building.
