Huntington Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Bellini
Bellini, a 9-month-old female tiger kitten, was rescued after her previous owners left her and her two siblings behind.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Bellini, a 9-month-old female tiger kitten, is the Huntington Pet of the Week, the Grateful Paw Cat Shelter announced.
The shelter, in place for 35 years, was evicted from a town facility, said Debbi Larkin, president of the shelter. The shelter, after a 5-year hiatus, is back up and running. Its volunteers were forced to relocate all the cats to foster homes while searching for a new location.
"It was a difficult process but we were able to secure a new building - which is quite comfy and cozy - and every [cat] has moved back into the free roaming rooms," Larkin said.

Bellini and her two siblings went into Grateful Paw at the start of January. They were rescued from a Mastic Beach home after the trio's previous owners were evicted and either could or would not take the felines with them.
The cats did not know what was happening, and they were afraid of being outside with all the other animals and dangers around them, according to Larkin.

Bellini is a real love bug who is always on the move, Larkin said.
"He loves playing with every toy in the room…even if the other kittens don’t want to play with her," Larkin wrote.
Bellini has a white bib and white paws.
She is fully vetted, tested negative for FELV/FIV, litter box trained and spayed.

"[She] would make a perfect Valentine for someone this year," Larkin said.
