Huntington Boys Track Sets Millrose Games Meet Record

An amazing performance by the Huntington Boys Track and Field Team!

Huntington’s 4x400m relay team defended their title while setting a new meet and Suffolk County record at the 109th Millrose Games on Saturday.

The relay’s time of 3:17.36 in the Long Island boys race now puts the team at No. 2 in the US.

The Millrose Games, held at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York City, is considered the longest-running and most prestigious indoor track and field competition in the world.

Relay splits were:

  • Kyree Johnson- 48.711
  • Lawrence Leake- 49.074
  • Shane McGuire: 51.712
  • Infinite Tucker: 47.861


More Millrose Games results:

  • Huntington’s 4x200 meter relay team placed fourth with a time of 1:31.12. The relay consisted of Johnson, Leake, Exzayvian Crowell and Tucker.
  • Johnson also placed sixth in the boys 55 meter dash with a time of 6.55 seconds.
