  1. The 13th annual Huntington Lighthouse Musicfest was held Saturday with largest crowd ever. There was an estimated 1,700 boats, kayaks, paddleboards, and rafts surrounding the lighthouse and $43,000 was donated to the restoration of the lighthouse. (Huntington Patch)
  2. Top Take 5 prize ticket sold in Huntington Station Wednesday night. The winning ticket was sold at Rite Aid on Jericho Turnpike and is worth $12,333.50. (Huntington Patch)
  3. Man killed in crash that caused LIE closure in Melville Wednesday. 52-year-old James Dawson, of the Bronx, was killed when his car left the highway and crashed into the median at roughly 4:40 p.m. Police believe Dawson suffered a medical event before crashing. (Daily Voice)
  4. Dix Hills home burglarized on Monday night. A person broke into a Pine Hill Lane home at around 10:25 p.m. and stole cash and jewelry. Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. (Patch)
