Here are the top stories in Huntington today:

1. Huntington resident hospitalized with West Nile Virus. The person, who is over 50, has been hospitalized since late August. It marks the first case of West Nile Virus in Suffolk County this year. (Huntington Patch)
2. Residents show up big for Greenlawn's Firemen's Fair. The first day had a parade up Broadway which featured pipe bands, an assortment of emergency vehicles, a state assemblyman on a motorcycle, veterans and other organizations. The fair continues all weekend. (http://www.huntingtonNow.com)
3. The Paramount to host the Jeff Beck Tour with special guest Johnny Depp. They will be performing for two nights, Oct. 14 and Oct. 15, and tickets start at $77. "Jeff Beck has never been shy about speaking his mind through his music," the show description reads. "For more than 50 years, the Grammy-winning guitarist has expanded rock’s sonic vocabulary with an inventive style of playing that defies categorization. With 'LOUD HAILER,' Beck’s first new album in six years, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer shifts gears once again for an album packed with topical lyrics that touch upon his concerns about the future. Loud hailer — another name for a megaphone — is the perfect symbol for the 11 tracks." (Huntington Patch)
