Here are the top 4 stories in Huntington today:
- Jamal Mungro and Jayquan Nash, of Brooklyn, were arrested after stealing over $2,000 worth of clothes from Dick's Sporting Goods in Melville on June 16. They were both charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree. (News 12 Long Island)
- Town of Oyster Bay opens daily baby formula collection sites. The two locations accepting unopened formula are Town Hall South and Town Hall North and are open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m.-4:45 p.m. "The nationwide baby formula shortage is causing a crisis for many families throughout Long Island," said Town Councilmember Steve Labriola. "We all know that once little ones move onto food, families are often left with extra formula in their pantries. We ask that you open your hearts and cupboards by donating unexpired, unused formula for families facing shortages and empty store shelves." (Patch)

- The Town of Huntington celebrated its 50th anniversary of its Vietnam War Memorial to the group of women who dedicated their time to serving soldiers of the Vietnam War and veterans who served their country. The two-part celebration saw hundreds of servicemembers at the Melville Marriot and others later in the day at the Village Green. (Greater Long Island)
