3. Huntington-Northport oyster reef project volunteering concludes. Volunteers have been working all summer to clean the waters and create biodiversity in the Town of Huntington. They created oyster reefs at Gold Star Battalion Beach and volunteer Desiree Benn Galgano said, “Our natural resources are precious and finite.
