  1. Long Island Press features two Town of Huntington businesses as best dog pros on Long Island. Barkfield Road in East Northport was featured as the best organic pet food supply store and Fetch in Huntington Village was featured as the best clothing store for dogs.   2. Town of Huntington to hold 9/11 memorial service at Heckscher Park Sunday. The memorial service will be held at the 9/11 Memorial in the park and begin at noon. The ceremony will honor residents and first responders from the Town of Huntington who lost their lives in the attacks. (Huntington Patch)
  3. PSEG working on strengthening energy grid in parts of Huntington. The main focus will be on South Huntington and Dix Hills, with stronger poles and wire, narrow profiles, and upgrading old equipment. “PSEG Long Island is strengthening the electric lines that directly power homes and businesses because we know that electric reliability is more important than ever to our customers,” said Peggy Keane, PSEG Long Island’s vice president of Construction and Operations Services.
