  1. Commack woman killed in crash on Southern State Parkway. Jessica Gonzalez, 19, was killed when her car crossed the lanes of traffic and struck the median on Sunday at 4:30 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene. (Smithtown Matters)
  2. Regal Deli in Plainview will not renew their lease and close at the end of the year. The iconic deli was the final Kosher deli in Plainview, which once had three. (LongIsland.com)
