Huntington Police Blotter: 3 Cars Stolen
In one instance, a person asked to test drive a Porsche and did not return with the car, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Nov. 6 through Nov. 13.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Nov. 12: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on New York Avenue in Huntington Station at 6:40 p.m. A 2013 Honda Pilot was stolen from Premier Autos, police said.
- Nov. 12: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 3:30 p.m. Men's jackets were swiped from Bloomingdale's, police said.
- Nov. 11: Burglary (third-degree) was reported on New York Avenue in Huntington Station at 1:52 a.m. The back door of Claros Variedades was broken into, and money was stolen from a cash register, police said.
- Nov. 10: Grand larceny (second-degree) was reported on Seaforth Lane in Lloyd Harbor at 4:30 a.m. An unlocked 2022 BMW parked in a driveway was stolen, police said. The key fob was left inside the car, police said.
- Nov. 8: Grand larceny (second-degree) was reported on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station at 1:44 p.m. Someone asked to test drive a 2022 white Porsche at Porsche Huntington, and they did not return the car, police said.
- Nov. 7: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Ames Place in South Huntington at 9 a.m. A woman stole a check left in a mailbox, police said.
