Huntington Police Blotter: 3 Walt Whitman Mall Thefts Reported
Shoes, sunglasses and clothing were among the stolen items, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Aug. 20 through Aug. 26.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Aug. 26: Peter Cordero, 52, of Deer Park, stole sunglasses from Saks Fifth Avenue in Walt Whitman Shops at 2:40 p.m. Aug. 26, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000.
- Aug. 23: Bernarda Farias-Christiansen, 57, of the Bronx, stole clothing from Saks Fifth Avenue in Walt Whitman Shops at 5:39 p.m. Aug. 23, police said. She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000.
- Aug. 21: Jamar Parker, 39, of Hempstead, stole CHANEL shoes from Saks Fifth Avenue in Walt Whitman Shops at 5:38 p.m. June 17, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000.
