Huntington Police Blotter: Apartment Broken Into
ALSO: A car was stolen after it was left running in the driveway, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Jan. 16 through Jan. 22.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Jan. 20: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on 4th Avenue in Huntington Station at 7:16 a.m. Three chainsaws and three blowers were stolen from a shed in a home's back yard, police said.
- Jan. 19: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Birchwood Drive in South Huntington at 3:10 p.m. A 2010 Subaru Forester was stolen after it was left running in a driveway, police said.
- Jan. 17: Burglary (second-degree) was reported on Green Street in Huntington at 5:42 p.m. An apartment was broken into, police said. A computer and bed were damaged, police said.
