Huntington Police Blotter: Man Hit In Face With Glass Bottle, Robbed
ALSO: Sneakers and a winter jacket were stolen from a mall in two separate thefts, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Dec. 24 through Dec. 30.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Dec. 29: Jamar Parker, 40, of Hempstead, stole Chanel sneakers worth $1,250 from a business in Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington Station on April 8, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property over $1,000.
- Dec. 28: Bladimir Isleno, 29, of Huntington, struck someone in the face with a glass bottle on New York Avenue in Huntington Station at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 11, police said. Isleno stole the person's cell phone and cash, police said. The person who was attacked went to a local hospital, police said. Isleno was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery: use dangerous instrument.
- Dec. 27: Juan Montoya-Munoz, 26, of College Point, stole a winter jacket worth $1,190 from Saks Fifth Avenue at Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington Station on Dec. 27, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property over $1,000.
