Huntington Police Blotter: Man Possessed Crack Cocaine

The Huntington man faces several drug-related charges, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from April 8 through April 14.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • April 12: Maurice Wilkerson, 58, of Huntington, was found to be in possession of crack cocaine on Crown Avenue in Huntington at 7 a.m. April 12, police said. He was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug 8 oz or more, one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of narcotic drug.
  • April 8: Brian Palmieri, 49, of Huntington, negotiated a fraudulent check number in Deer Park on June 28, 2023, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny, second-degree possession of forged instrument, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
