Huntington Police Blotter: Man Steals 4 iPhones

ALSO: A man stole approximately $4,600 worth of clothing from Saks Fifth Avenue across two separate days, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from March 4 through March 10.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • March 9: Barbara Cucceraldo, 35, of Deer Park, was working at Dick's Sporting Goods when she was accused of completing fraudulent returns worth $2,500 between Jan. 21 and Feb. 2, police said. She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000.
  • March 9: Lucy Ortiz, 54, of Flushing, stole a Versace handbag worth $2,400 from Saks Fifth Avenue at Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington Station on March 9, police said. She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000.
  • March 6: Johnathen Colaizzo, 38, of West Bayblon, stole 10 Versace shirts worth roughly $2,200 from Saks Fifth Avenue in Huntington Station on Feb. 27, police said. Colaizzo stole $2,400 worth of Essentials-branded clothing from Saks Fifth Avenue on March 6, police said. He was arrested and charged with two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000 and nine bench warrants.
  • March 4: Oscar Perez-Merino, 28, of Peterson, stole four iPhones at a Huntington Station home on March 4, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny.
