Huntington Police Blotter: Man Who Burglarized Home Arrested

The man was accused of stealing electronics, art and money, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Sept. 24 through Sept. 30.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Sept. 30: Paul Marolda, 57, of Oyster Bay, stole two scarves, two socks and two dress shirts worth a combined $1,390 from Saks Fifth Avenue at Walt Whitman Shops around 6:45 p.m. Sept. 30, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000.
  • Sept. 28: Rhamel Bratton, 34, of Huntington Station, broke into a Lenox Road home in Huntington Station sometime between July 17 and July 30, police said. Bratton stole electronics, art, money and other items, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary: dwelling.
