Huntington Police Blotter: Men Sold Fentanyl, Crack
The men, arrested separately, sold drugs multiple times; primarily in Huntington Station, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Feb. 5 through Feb. 11.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Feb. 9: Joseph Hernandez, 48, of the Bronx, sold crack cocaine on Oct. 25 in Massapequa and Nov. 7 in Huntington Station, police said. He was found in possession of cocaine on Feb. 9 in Huntington Station, police said. He was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug, one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug w/ intent to sell, and fourth-degree criminal possession of narcotic drugs.
- Feb. 8: Brian Palmieri, 49, of Huntington, sold fentanyl in Huntington Station on four dates between Feb. 9, 2023, and Feb. 20, 2023, police said. Police searched Palmieri on Feb. 8 and found him to have a glass pipe containing crack cocaine, police said. He was arrested and charged with four counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug and one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
