Huntington Police Blotter: Woman Sold Crack 3 Times

ALSO: A man was accused of using the personal ID of multiple people to apply for New York state unemployment insurance benefits, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Jan. 22 through Jan. 28.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Jan. 26: Katiana Blain, 43, of Huntington, sold crack cocaine for money three times in three separate locations in Huntington Station between Aug. 2 and Aug. 23, police said. She was arrested and charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug, one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of revoke parole/conditional release, and three bench warrants.
  • Jan. 24: Jahmik Curry, 26, of Huntington, used the personal identification of multiple people to apply for New York state unemployment insurance benefits multiple times between Jan. 1, 2020, and May 10, 2022, police said. Curry was acting with others, police said. He was arrested and charged with seven counts of first-degree identity theft: obtain goods and one count of second-degree identity theft: obtain goods.
