Huntington Station Macy's Employee Steals Over $1K Of Clothing: Police
The cashier wrongfully deleted transactions to steal money from the store and was arrested, police say.
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — An Amityville woman was arrested Saturday after Suffolk police said she stole from the store she worked for.
Josabet Hernandez-Sanchez, 23, Amityville, worked as a cashier for Macy's, at 180 Walt Whitman Road, Huntington Station, police said. She was accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of clothing by wrongfully deleting transactions between Nov. 25 and Dec. 11, police said.
She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000.
