Huntington Station Teen Accused of Stealing ATVs

The ATVs were stolen from the Huntington area, West Islip and Nassau County, police say.

A Huntington Station teen was arrested Wednesday after police said he had five stolen ATVs in his possession.

According to authorities, someone told police they saw their stolen ATV at 27 West Pulaski Road at 3:40 p.m. and further investigation led to the recovery of five stolen ATVs from that location.

Timothy Flythe, 17, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and four counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Three of the ATVs were reported stolen in the Huntington area, one was stolen from West Islip, another was stolen from Nassau County and a sixth ATV was impounded for further investigation, police say.
